Professional athletes get paid way too much. What do they do to benefit society? They play games for a living. And yet, they are paid a lot and they are idolized by kids growing up. Tiger Woods made $127,902,706 in 2008. Why did he earn that much money? He did not benefit the world in any way. The average annual salary for a family physician was around $150,000. That is .1% Tiger Woods's salary. That is not right. Doctors go to school for around 8 years. Athletes get paid for a natural gift. I love sports, but something is wrong with that.
