Graduation

Yesterday the senior class graduated. I had to be there for NHS. As NHS vice president, i got to boss around all of the other NHS workers. I didn't really boss them around though, more like manage. The other officers and I lead the seniors out to their seats. We also had to help all of the ladies walk down the three steps from the stage to the floor. We did our job well and no one fell down the steps; two or three girls did trip a bit though. I am happy for the seniors for their graduation. I am only 363 days away from the day that our class walks. With the seniors gone, our class has to step up to the leadership role now. Today after school, the other NHS officers and I will be leading the NHS meeting. It is kind of weird having to be the responsible person that I must be now. It is kind of a good feeling though. I will be in control of everybody in NHS, besides Matthew Rees, the president, of course. Besides NHS, my friends and I are going to have to step up to the role of leaders for Cross Country and Track. We pretty much are all ready, but it is going to be official soon.
We have all grown up so quickly. I remember being a kid looking at the second graders and thinking how big they were. Now they are tiny. Life really does fly by. This year is almost over, but it feels like it just started. Life is crazy.
