Punctuation

In the English language, we have a few punctuation marks. Periods for normal sentences, question marks for inquisitory sentences, and exclamation marks for exciting sentences. Should we have more? What happens if you want to write in sarcasm? How is the reader supposed to know that it is sarcasm? If I write, "I love this soup." Someone is going to think that I love the soup. If I write, "I love this soup!" You would think that I really love the soup. If I write,"I love this soup?" no one will know what I mean. How would I show sarcasm? There is no way to do it. There should be a sarcasm mark in English.

Vacation

I love vacation and I hate vacation. I love it because you get to relax and take time off. There is nothing better than a vacation after a tough week at school. Looking forward to a vacation might be the only thing that keeps me going through a long school year. But vacations make me so lazy. I don't want to do any homework for school tommarow. I am dreading school more than anything. Vacations remind me of the fact that I am a really bad procrastinator. Now I can only wait for the next vacation. Only 15 school days left until winter break!

Favorites

Teachers aren't supposed to have favorites. Supposedly, they don't have favorites. I am not buying that one bit. One English teacher that I had also had my brother and both of my sisters. She never said anything about my oldest sister, but that is probably because she doesn't remember her. But she deffinitly remembered my older brother. I saw him and his friend walk into the room. She said hi to my brother's friend, but not a single word to my brother. She didn't like me that much either. I wonder if teachers give better grades to their favorites. That wouldn't be fair at all.
In that case, how do I make myself a favorite? Would I be your favorite mr. Wilcox if I wore a Colorado shirt?

Work Ethic

Work ethic is pretty tricky. Most of the time,I start something with a great work ethic. Like these blogs for example. I had two blogs in the first two days of the quarter. But this is my first since then. Three weeks between blogs. These are supposed to be continuosly updated. I thought about it, and that is how it happens most of the time. Excercising, for most people at least, is the same way. So are new years resolutions and homework at the begginig of the school year.
People need to get a better work ethic. I need a better work ethic. Whoever invented procrastinating needs to take it back. Or we could just try hard to stop procrastinating.
